Which IDs are accepted for the validation process?

Here is the list of accepted IDs:

  • Passport
  • Driver’s License
  • PRC ID
  • Postal ID
  • GSIS eCard/UMID
  • SSS
  • National ID
  • PHILHEALTH

Is my personal information safe during the account validation process?

At TOP.ph, we place great emphasis on data privacy. Rest assured, your information is handled with the utmost care and is governed by our Data Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.

How long does the account validation process usually take?

The account validation process typically has a turnaround time of 24 hours.

Can I use my account while the validation is still pending?

You cannot utilize the features inside the app while your account validation is being reviewed.

How will I be notified once my account is successfully validated?

Once your account is validated, a pop-up message will appear when you open your app, and you will also receive an email and SMS regarding your account validation approval.

What should I do if my validation request is rejected?

A pop-up message will appear with the reason for the application rejection. Tap “Validate Again” in your app to re-validate your account. You will also be notified via SMS and email regarding your account rejection.

Can I change the ID type I uploaded for validation after submission?

Once the account validation is submitted, you cannot change the ID type you chose to upload.

Is there a fee associated with the account validation process?

The account validation process have no cost.

What are the account rejection reasons?

Here are the reasons why users’ applications are rejected:

Blurry image: The ID image needs to be clear and sharp, making it difficult to read the information.
Glitches or distortions: The ID image may have glitches, distortions, or visual artifacts that affect its legibility.
Incomplete information: The ID may not contain all the required information, such as missing personal details or a photo.
Expired ID: The ID may be past its validity date.
Forgery or tampering: The ID may show signs of forgery or tampering, such as altered information or a counterfeit appearance.
Mismatched information: The information on the ID does not match the provided user details or the database records.
ID & liveliness should match.

Note: After the user’s application is disapproved, they will receive an SMS and email outlining the necessary steps for re-validation.

I am trying to have my account validation approved, can you help me with my account eligibility?

The following are the reasons for application approval:

  1. The information details provided are complete and accurate.
  2. The filled-in information matches the applicant’s valid ID details.
  3. The user uploaded a Valid ID.
  4. Clear Copy of Valid ID.
  5. A clear copy of a selfie with a valid ID.
  6. The user’s identity is verified through the liveness check.
  7. The Liveness Check and the User’s ID matched.
